Early access behavioral health

KNOWING IS THE FIRST STEP

Why It Matters...

Early identification of autism can make a meaningful difference in a child’s development. Our autism assessment and developmental evaluation process is designed for children as young as 16 months up to age 7, helping families gain valuable insight during critical developmental years.

Using innovative technology, this evaluation process can help identify early indicators associated with autism as early as 16 months. With many families facing long waitlists for formal diagnoses, our goal is to provide an accessible path to earlier answers, guidance, and support.

signs your child will benefit

from progress monitoring

Children develop at their own pace, but there are certain behavioral patterns that may suggest taking a closer look. You might notice:

  • Limited eye contact or not consistently responding to their name.

  • Fewer gestures, smiles, or shared moments of attention

  • Delays in speech or language development

  • Repetitive movements, sounds, or strong interest in specific objects

  • Walking on their tippy toes

  • Sensitivity to sounds, textures, or changes in routine

If you’re noticing several of these, or simply feel unsure about your child’s development, you’re not alone. Getting more information can be a helpful first step toward understanding how to best support your child.

WhatWe Do

During the assessment, your child will watch a series of short, engaging videos while seated comfortably in front of a screen. As they watch, the EarliPoint Evaluation System tracks their eye movements in a safe, non-invasive way.

This helps us understand how your child is naturally responding to social information; like faces, movement, and interaction, giving us valuable insight into their development. The process takes about 15 minutes, is completely child-friendly, and requires no verbal responses or instructions, making it easy for young children to participate.

After the assessment, you’ll receive a clear summary of the results along with personalized guidance on next steps. We’re here to support you every step of the way so you feel informed and confident moving forward.

from progress monitoring

1.  How do we start?

Simply book a time for a evaluation and intake forms will be sent out via email.

2. How long will this take?

45 minutes total. The visual assessment is a 15-minute video. You receive results 15 minutes after that, and meet with a clinician to discuss them.

3. What happens during the assessment?

Your child will watch a short video clips while the device tracks eye movement, attention, and visual focus patterns.

4. Will I be in the same room?

Yes, you’ll be in the room and able to observe. We ask that you allow your child to respond naturally without prompting, so we can get the most accurate understanding of their skills. To help keep the environment calm and focused, please plan to attend without additional children.

5. Is this covered by insurance?

At this time, the initial assessment and any full evaluations are private pay. However, for families with HUSKY or Medicaid plans, we’ve partnered with providers who can complete a medical diagnostic evaluation through insurance. The initial assessment is still completed as a private pay service.

6. Does insurance recognize EarliPoint as an evaluation tool for autism assessments?

Yes. EarliPoint is an FDA-cleared tool that can be used by qualified clinicians as part of an autism assessment process. It is designed to provide objective data that complements clinical observation and other diagnostic tools.

7. How much is it?

Initial Assessment: $397

Full Evaluation: $997

Progress Monitoring (recommended every 6 months): $297

8. How does progress monitoring work?

For families who want to track development over time—especially after starting services—we offer ongoing progress monitoring to measure both growth and any areas of regression. We can re-administer the EarliPoint screening every 3 months, with a recommended follow-up every 6 months to review developmental milestones and update recommendations.

9. What happens if my child receives a positive result, but I’m not ready for a full evaluation?

We understand that this can feel overwhelming, and every family moves at their own pace. There’s no pressure to move forward right away. When you’re ready, we can connect you with trusted providers who can help complete a full evaluation so you have support when the time feels right.

10. What if my child has difficulty sitting through the assessment?

It’s okay if your child has difficulty sitting or attending to the evaluation. We understand children may need movement, breaks, or support during the screening. If enough data cannot be collected, we will discuss appropriate next steps with you.

Progress Monitoring

Development doesn’t stop after the initial assessment and neither should your insight.

Our progress monitoring service allows families to track their child’s development over time, especially after beginning services. This helps us measure growth, identify any areas of regression, and ensure that the support your child is receiving is truly making an impact.

We can re-administer the EarliPoint assessment every 3 months with a recommended follow-up every 6 months to review developmental milestones and update guidance as needed. This ongoing process gives you a clearer picture of progress rather than just a single snapshot in time. Our goal is to help you stay informed, confident, and supported as your child grows.
